They are extremely heavy duty and are built to withstand the elements. Comes with a removable solar cap in which turns on automatically when the sun sets. No cords needed.
Can also be used indoors with string lights or a candle inside.

All sizes now come with a base welded to the bottom for support. The center of the base is open so that the pillar can fit over unsightly objects such as well head pipes. This base also has holes in it that can be used to secure to the ground. Ground anchors sold separately

Finishes:
Raw steel - will slowly rust over time unless clear-coated or painted
